Funding:

Because Svitanya has been selected for inclusion in the Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour roster, funding may be available to support performance engagements with presenters in DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, WV and the US Virgin Islands. Please visit PennPAT for more details.

We at Svitanya are more than willing to assist you by answering questions and offering suggestions for a successful application to PennPAT. We can also help you with the narrative section of the application, supplying text so as to save you time. PennPAT staff are also available to answer your questions.

Performance Needs:
Contact us to discuss alternatives based on your situation.

10-feet wide by 8-feet deep performance space (minimum). We will stand close together in a concave arc so that we can all see each other.
Quality vocal sound system with 1-3 omni-directional microphones for vocals, and 2 microphones for stringed instruments is preferred. If you cannot provide omni-directional mics, we can also use individual mics (one per singer), plus the 2 instrumental mics. In either case, please also supply a qualified sound technician, and plan on having a sound check prior to the show.
In some venues, amplification is not needed at all. Please discuss your situation with us!
Secure and private backstage space, available starting 2 hours prior to performance, through performance time and for one-hour afterwards.
Space suitable for selling CDs, in a well-lighted location obvious and easily accessible to audience before, during and after the performance.
When an overnight stay is warranted, please provide double occupancy hotel rooms.
